There’s something wonderful about hearing familiar Christmas music presented in new and unexpected ways. LCC’s holiday concert, A Jazzy Little Christmas, takes its playful inspiration from the familiar carol “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and offers a few musical surprises along the way!

We’ve put together a program with a little bit of everything: beloved holiday favorites, sophisticated jazz arrangements, beautiful and reflective choral works, and some selections that are sure to bring a smile. It’s a chance to enjoy the music we know and love while discovering something new.

One of music’s greatest gifts is its ability to bring people together. We all come from different backgrounds and experiences, and the holidays can mean different things to each of us. Music gives us a way to share in the joy, beauty, humor, and hope of the season. Lakeshore Community Chorus hopes this concert provides our community of dear friends and family a chance to slow down, enjoy the music, and share in something meaningful together.
